You will always find something to do in Waterford. Throughout the year Waterford and The South East boasts a number of festivals and events that take place within the city and county.
Spraoi Festival - (August Bank Holiday Weekend) - This is one of Ireland’s most exciting and fastest growing annual street festivals.
Trá Festival - (July Bank Holiday Weekend) - This provides a weekend packed of music, song and street entertainment.
Blue Grass Music Festival - (August Bank Holiday Weekend) - Held in the scenic Dunmore East guaranteed to provide a weekend of craic agus ceoil!
Tramore Races - Tramore Races have many meetings throughout the year. Next meets are 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th August 2010 7th October 2010 and the 31 December 2010 and the 1st January 2011.
The IMAGINE Arts Festival is held on the October holiday weekend, followed by the Waterford Film Festival in early November.
Waterford International Festival of Light Opera each year. The 2010 festival will run from the 4th – 12th November 2010.
